I woke up this morning to a breathtaking winter wonderland. This is a view from my backyard. Have you ever noticed after a snow storm how peaceful and still the world seems to be? It reminds me of one of my favorite songs...
"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.
I see trees of green, red roses too. I see them bloom for me and you. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue and clouds of white. The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world. The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky Are also on the faces of people going by. I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?" They're really saying "I love you". I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow. They'll learn much more than I'll ever know. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world. Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world...
I think we all need to remember that we do live in a wonderful world, especially now in these times we all are going through. I also found a video that has the song and some beautiful pictures of our world on it. I hope you enjoy it, it doesn't quite fit my screen and I don't know how to fix that. Wishing you all great blessings and love wherever you are and may your world always be wonderful...
